Overview

Day 1: Kochi (Arrival) - On to Athirapally (78 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)

Arrival at Airport in the morning by flight/ship. Meet our representative of Getgotrip Holidays. you will be transferred to Athirapally. It is considered as the land of forests, rivers and great waterfalls. Upon arrival Athirapally, check into the hotel. The rest of the evening is free to explore the sights and sounds of Athirapally. Athirapally Waterfalls is known as the Niagara Falls of India. The spectacular view of the cascading waterfalls from heights of 80 feet is an experience par excellence. It lies within the wilderness of the Sholayar Range which offers a beautiful breathtaking view. Stay overnight in Athirapally.

Day 2: Athirapally* On to Munnar (180 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)

Post breakfast, drive to Munnar,  It is breathtakingly beautiful, and a refuge for peace loving tourists. It is an idyllic tourist destination in the God’s Own Country and considered as the Gateway to the South Indian. En-route, you can also visit waterfalls in Cheeyappara and flowers in Blossom Gardens. Later, check into the hotel and retire for the day. Stay overnight in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar

After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady (85 km / 3 hours)

Wake up to a delightful breakfast. Check out from the hotel and embark on a journey from Munnar to Thekkady. Once reached, check in to your hotel and relax. Freshen up and visit Periyar National Park for a rendezvous with wildlife. Enjoy a jeep safari on direct payment basis. Overnight Stay at Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady - Alleppey (147 km / 4 hours)

After breakfast, and check out from the hotel. Today, you will leave from Thekkady to Alleppey, one of the top Kerala cities. Known for its backwaters, Alleppey will add charm to your trip to Kerala.

Upon reaching, check in to your hotel and freshen up. Savor an appetizing lunch. Set off for a Kerala backwater tour, one of the most romantic things included in your Kerala package. Overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 6: Alleppey - Kovalam (160 Km / 4 hrs)

In the morning, disembark the houseboat and make your way to Kovalam, the beach town, by road. On arrival, check-in and rest for some time. Afterward, you can visit the various beaches or enjoy water sports.

Kovalam Beach forms from three beaches, namely, Hawa, Samudra, and Lighthouse beach. Hawa beach is perfect for peace, Samudra for beauty, and Lighthouse beach to enjoy panoramic city views. If not, you can indulge in adventure sports.

There are many Ayurveda centers in Kovalam you can visit to experience the magic of Kerala Ayurveda. In the evening, you can visit the market to purchase aromatic spices, handicrafts, wooden statues, etc. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam

In the morning, After Breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Thiruvananthapuram which include Padmanabha Swamy temple, Veli Tourist Village, Museum Complex, Science & Technology Museum, Shangmugham Beach and Aakulam boat club etc. Stay overnight in Kovalam.

Day 8: Kovalam - Trivandrum (20 km / 40 min)

Today is the last day of your Kerala your tour package. Get transferred to either Thiruvananthapuram (also called Trivandrum).

Enjoy sightseeing in Trivandrum in the morning. You can visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Drop on Airport.
